NARAL Pro-Choice America is committed to protecting the privacy of our members, supporters, and activists. The Choice Action Network (CAN) is an opt-in, permission-based email list. We will not email you without your permission.

There are a variety of ways to subscribe to CAN, including submitting a form at our web site, opting in when you send a message to Congress through our web site legislative action center, mailing a sign-up form from a brochure or poster, and signing up at a NARAL Pro-Choice America outreach activity.

NARAL Pro-Choice America maintains records documenting the source of each individual's registration for CAN. When you subscribe to the Choice Action Network or to one of our other mailing lists, we collect your name, e-mail address, city, state and zip code. Unless you opt out, we will use your e-mail address to send you updates on reproductive health issues and to ask you to take an action, such as contacting your member of Congress or attending an event.

CAN sends messages on behalf of NARAL Pro-Choice America, the NARAL Pro-Choice America Foundation, NARAL Pro-Choice America-PAC, and NARAL affiliates. We will not give, rent, or exchange e-mail addresses with any non-NARAL Pro-Choice America organization. NARAL Pro-Choice America provides CAN subscriber information to our service providers -- on a confidential basis -- to enable them to provide services necessary to NARAL Pro-Choice America's work (such as database maintenance or sending e-mail messages on NARAL Pro-Choice America's behalf).
